BETER secures approvals in Indiana and Iowa

BETER, the award-winning provider of fast-betting content, live streaming, and data, has taken another major step in its US expansion strategy after securing regulatory approvals to launch its exclusive content in Indiana and Iowa.

With these approvals, BETER is now able to deliver its Setka Cup table tennis content — including live data and live streams — to licensed operators in both states. This marks the first time bettors in Indiana and Iowa can engage with BETER’s fast-paced Setka Cup action.

The approvals were granted by the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) and the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission (IRGC). Setka Cup tournaments are already available to bettors in both states through tier-one operator bet365, which earlier this year also rolled out BETER’s content in Colorado and New Jersey.

BETER provides 24/7 live streaming, real-time data, and hyper-accurate odds for approximately 700,000 fast-paced events each year across a variety of esports and sports disciplines. Its events offer up to 50 betting markets per match, with an average operator margin exceeding 7.5%.

The company’s sports portfolio includes the Setka Cup table tennis series, the BSKT Cup basketball league, Padel tennis, and coverage of official cricket tournaments and leagues worldwide. Its esports offering features ESportsBattle tournaments across eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey, and eTennis.

Gal Ehrlich, CEO of BETER, said:

“Securing approvals in Indiana and Iowa marks another important milestone in our expansion across the US, a market where we are already seeing strong demand for our fast-betting content, particularly the Setka Cup.

Receiving approval from such respected regulators is a testament to the quality of our products and the dedication of our teams, especially in the areas of legal compliance, integrity, and transparency.

The US is an essential market for both operators and suppliers, particularly those committed to building their businesses within regulated environments where player safety is the top priority. This is exactly what we aim to achieve, and we’re confident we can bring unique value to US operators and their bettors.”

Valeriia Tarchynska, Chief Legal Officer at BETER, added:

“Gaining approvals in Indiana and Iowa represents another step forward in our broader US strategy and highlights the efficiency and expertise of our legal team in navigating complex regulatory frameworks. We’re also grateful for the ongoing support of our trusted partner, law firm BlankRome, whose guidance has been invaluable throughout this process.

Our legal team has honed its expertise through extensive experience securing approvals in the US and LATAM markets. We’ll continue leveraging this knowledge to further streamline future applications as we expand into key states, including North Carolina, Arizona, Ohio and beyond.”
