Driving content, shaping conversations: how GameOn helped NEXT NYC become the must-attend marketing hub

Overview

GameOn has a long-standing relationship with NEXT, supporting the company across all areas of its business and often includes NEXT in strategic media plans that include editorials, sponsored videos, banner advertising and event sponsorship. In 2024, GameOn was invited to be part of the Advisory Board for NEXT NYC which would help shape the agenda for that year’s event. GameOn also requested to host the day’s event which was a resounding success thanks to NEXT’s incredible event management and business development teams. GameOn was subsequently invited back to chair the event in 2025.  

The Results

NEXT NYC is now largely considered the industry’s leading North American conference for content and networking   

·        Every panel featured during the Marketing Hub was extremely well attended with some sessions standing room only  

·        Great coverage and support from industry publications which meant that the event reached an even bigger audience   

The Mission

GameOn was required to use its extensive knowledge of marketing, PR, social media to contribute to the advisory board and help create an agenda that would engage all delegates attending the event that had an interest in all things marketing. The mission was to work with the Advisory Board to build an agenda that would be engaging and impactful. GameOn opened its network of contacts to source experts within their field whilst also researching speakers outside of industry to lend their expertise to panel discussions.

Partnering Media

GameOn reached out to industry publications, inviting them to support NEXT NYC through editorial content in return for NEXT’s support in attending the event  

Research  

Researching topics that would be approved by NEXT and the Advisory Board that would encourage people to sign up and attend the event.
